OK, while I'm in a nostalgic mood...Oulton Park 1991 I was a Ferrari-mad 7 year old so we used to go and see the Maranello Challenge whenever possible. You can tell how small I was by how near the camera is to the ground! I have quite a few more if these are proving to be of any interest.

A little trawl through the archives at my parents' revealed this little beauty from the 1994 Goodwood FoS. I can offer some narrative if anyone's interested.
Yes please, big fan of these Villeneuve era carsThis was the first Goodwood FoS I'd attended, I was 10 years old at the time and absolutely T-series Ferrari mad. Gilles and Niki were my heroes, though Gilles died a year before I was born. I am just out of shot proudly wearing a Ferrari t-shirt.
This particular car is the very 312 T3 in which Gilles scored his first GP win at Montreal in 1978. A real piece of Ferrari history and arguably the best-looking of the T-series racers. One can only imagine how it would've cleared up if only Lotus hadn't developed the Type 79...
The other interesting thing about this shot is the driver. Mike Wilds is stood in his RML overalls (a legacy of his Group C2 days) on the left hand side of the shot, with that distinctive helmet sitting on the rear wing. I dug out the photo because I recently completed an interview with Mike and wanted a shot or two of my own to illustrate it. Sadly Mike suffered a bad accident that day in the T3 as he approached Molcomb Corner, badly damaging both the front of the car and his legs. I didn't witness the actual crash but remember the shock over the site. Although I'd been to many race meetings before I hadn't been present when a driver was badly hurt before so I was pretty shaken. Fortunately both car and driver are now in fine fettle. I haven't seen this chassis for a little while but there are a number of other T3s out there. One resides in the Maranello Rosso Collection just outside San Marino which is just a wonderful half day if you're ever in the area. We also saw this one at the Monaco Historique in 2008 doing a Ferrari demo. I don't know who currently owns it, however Joachim Folch was down to race a T3 later in the day but never appeared. Maybe he elected to take part in the demo only...
