chevronb37 said: I'm afraid I missed the U2TC guys - they were only there yesterday unfortunately. I just had a glance through my U2TC photos from last year but there's nothing special amongst them. I'm pleased the T70 photo worked - sometimes it's easy to spend ages trying to get everything pin sharp and perfectly framed but the shots you like the best sum up a feeling or an atmosphere. Yeah shame, oh well thanks for looking Chevron . I had a shot like that, took it at the first "modern" Silverstone Classic event (2005?) on my then-new 2 megapixel!! Samsung digicam of a DBR1 whizzing by at dusk with its lights on, the low pixel count plus the motion blur meant I managed to fluke quite a cool shot

XKjimmy said: Many Thanks. I was pleased with it.
Sunday was a good day, nice temperature too, Saturday's icy wind was not good.
He did seem to be getting used to the car very well! Sounded great too. Im glad he got it fixed for the sunday too. A suspension component seemed to fail on the Saturday.
Trevor did seem to be going well! Seeing the front wheel lift into the corner was a suprise Agreed with the weather on Saturday - it was freezing! I'll be up at Harewood on Sunday so hopefully will get some decent pictures up there - the entry list looks good too. @Chevron - Will you up be in sunny (hopefully) Yorkshire on Sunday as I seem to remember you were there last year.

Off on a tangent slightly, but I thought I'd ask in here rather than create a new thread. But...is there anyway of finding out which photographers attended a race meeting? I was at Brands this weekend and in-between the deluges of rain, I tried to find someone with a Media bib on, but the majority where either stationed out in the in-field or various other parts of the circuit away from the paddock and I didn't fancy a quick swim to try find them I'm just interested to know if there is a way of pinning down photographers and seeing if anyone got any of me? Slightly self indulgent I know, but I'm after a few for the blog I'm writing for work. (Same goes for Snetterton last month!) Any help is deeply appreciated, John (To keep it on topic, there are some utterly stunning cars and photography in this thread! Makes me slightly depressed on both accounts!)

Well as I only live about 8 miles from Harewood it'd be rude not to. I was going to go to a mate's house for bacon butties with the Spanish GP but that's what they invented recordable telly for!

Oh, and another thing - can anyone fill me in on the latest hillclimbing news/gossip? I'm years out of date. What are the stories I should be looking out for? Sounds like a few of us from NYLOC/exiges.com will be in attendance at Harewood so look out for unreliable bewinged Lotuses.

Yeah, it is the British round, and I'll be there of course. http://www.harewoodhill.com/downloads/pdf/entryLis... - the entry list for the Sunday.

John I am at Brands Hatch most weekends so if you want some shots from there feel free to contact me although I am not press and strictly an amateur. Although my shots from the last weekend are a little thin due to the rubbish weather

General overview of who's hot and who's not would be awesome! Has Willem Toet's car been revealed yet? I interviewed him last year and it was on its way. What about the Raptor? Fulfilling its promise? Is Scott Moran still clearing up? Drop me a line if you fancy meeting for a brew and a natter.

The visible damage of the minis from Castle Combe is nothing compared to the noise that they made coming together!
