Slight change of scene; British Hillclimb Championship at Harewood yesterday. Great spectacle.
You were standing right next to me then!

Did you see the Puma of Mike Manning? Always good to watch!

Spooky! I did see the Puma - unbelievable machine and beautifully driven. I don't know if you're interested, but I recently wrote an article about the sport of speed hillclimbing here: http://www.racetechmag.com/articles/article.php?ba...

That's a nice shot, oh the joys of being "in circuit" with a press accreditation.

Oh. maybe just maybe one day.

Thanks I'll have a look through when i have the chance. Do you go often? Massive follower me, even went to Wiscombe last year! Was brilliant to see Lee Adams get a win, as it was to see Richard Spedding get so many points.

Thanks Peter. I'm actually over that way next weekend as (no smugness intended) we're flying from Manchester to attend the Canadian GP. I'll have to try some tactical planning with management.
I'm running in the Formula Ford support race for the Canadian GP - come find us in the support paddock, BlurredVisionRacing, 3 or 4 FFs (one of which is purple, should be easy to find!).

Drop me an email if you'd like - it's on www.blurredvisionracing.com.

I probably get to a meeting every other year at the moment. In between all my other motor racing commitments it's hard work! I grew up about an hour from Loton Park so used to go down there regularly when I was growing up. I must get back there soon actually. Lee Adams did a great job and the Raptor looks spectacular!

Had a whole load of time to do nothing before my swinging 60's race yesterday so I took a walk around the infield during the Pirelli Open.

As for holding the camera straight... Have you been on the infield at donington? That slopes steeper than it looks you know! biggrin

I went to the VSCC meeting at Cadwell on Saturday. A brilliant day and fascinating!

The yellow car is a 4.2 litre v-twin on open pipes! My old man reckoned that at one point it looked like the engine was going to stay still and the car spin around it hehe
