R TOY said: If your asking then your buying . Certainly looks like a well sorted car. Only thing is if you buy that and dont come top 3 you know its you and not the car ! Great racing between the RAW Pug and Team Sam, esp before the pit change. Not sure what happened under SC to get Team Sam disqualified, overtaking on yellows was given reason but i think there was more to it than that. Our race in Team Trophy was prematurely ended on lap 60 running 6th o'all by a shattered oil pump rotor and consequently a seized motor The Pug and SaM were certainly star performers, particularly as neither car sits towards the top of the Class B band. From a grandstand perspective, there seemed to be five or six cars behind the safety car moving along the Cooper Straight; SaM came round Graham Hill quite slowly - maybe just because of the weight of traffic - and then suddenly took a lurch down the nearside of the column of cars. (Hadn't seen the yellow flag at GH?) Almost immediately realised his mistake and backed off to allow the cars he had overtaken to file past him. I guess the transgression was enough though? Re the Pug, knowing how much it'll cost me to finish my E36 car to get it 'race ready', I'm seriously considering abandoning it and buying a finished article for my son to enter later in the season. Would prefer RWD... but it's hard to ignore such a capable machine!

Capable it certainly is. I am looking to build on my experience and I have some things to aim for now which I did not before. Working on the car this weekend and making a few changes so it should be a bit quicker for Silverstone. We will see.

I figured out why my pace was struggling My left wheel bearing had collapsed My steering rack had moved And my right wishbone had spat out its powerflex collar All probably caused by being dragged sideways through the gravel I guess. Pics here http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?5522...

Surprised to see MSV's FaceBook update calling for further entrants as the grid for the TDT isn't full this weekend.

Grid was huge at Silverstone, 34 cars I think.

Having broke our cherry at Donington in the Team Trophy we'd half decided late Friday afternoon to enter the Silverstone TDT, however, not having looked at the Mighty Clio since loading it after Donny we decided to go to the pub instead. Probably going to do the Snetterton TT on 30th June, then do both at Cadwell on 22nd July. See you there! Darren ExplodingFistRacing Car 89 ....

It's Round 3 of the TrackDay Trophy and Round 5 of the Team Trophy this sunday at Cadwell Park ! I'm there with the (now repaired) #88 Subaru, and a few others on here also. If your close, pop in and enjoy a few mini-endurance races. See you Saturday afternoon for all those attending !
