Had a busy weekend, 2 races in 2 days. 6Hr Birkett in an MR2 on Saturday and 2Hr Lotus Cup UK race on Sunday.

Birkett footage is especially entertaining, if you don't watch much, watch the first couple of minutes, up to the 3 car collision at 2:10 .. you might then want to watch the last 10 secs to see me get my own back

Lotus race was fun as was in the (very) dark at Snett300. I do the 2CV so used to Snett in the dark but that's the 200 layout, this was the 300.

Unfortunately, the car expired with electrical problems less than 10 mins before the end of we would have won, which would have been a great story as my co-driver was a young 16yo in his first ever car race and whom I had been training over the previous months.

Some pretty handy driving from that Will Sharp fella, but whats with the one handed driving, even on a decent amount of lock he doesnt often revert to two hands?

I'd quite like to see that from the Civic's point of view.

Freeze frame it right after impact and his car is 4 wheels on the black stuff with space to spare to the white line. Doesnt really look like he went down the grass for it [and a bit pot vs kettle if you're saying he shouldnt have squeezed through a space with both your breathe in moments preceding it ]

Will finished 3rd in Class A. He came from 10 years in MGs. That overtake in one of Woof's links shows how fast he could be - the black/red Boxster finished 2nd in Class A!

Yep - he's got a weird way of driving - Doesn't' toe / heel either !
I noticed that Jonathan Greensmith drives mostly with one hand - sometimes no hands !!

We had a very odd race 1. 3/4 of the track was under yellows and if you got stuck behind the slower 924s you were going to lose 10-12secs - Will had a been able to keep his foot in and got a run on Steve Boyles. Awesome/brave move

Agree, I'd like to see the Civics point of view also. I've no idea if he was on the grass, the track or wherever but he certainly cut across my front (before hbe was past) and knocked me into the Caterham. If you review the video you will see that in neither of my breathe in moments did I change my line before, during or after the overtake, so there is a HUGE difference IMO.

I also appear to drive one handed all the time, even during my 360 spin and never heel/toe either, check out my video above from Donnington.
