No room on the one day timetable for all of the CSCC series, so something had to give. MC gets the Silvertone GP circuit as a guest series at someone else's meeting instead.
Result as far as I'm concerned smile

I agree, disappointing about Oulton, but Silverstone GP is something different.

My Dad and I raced the whole season with MC in the black and white E36 M3. Had a really good time, just a shame Neville was so quick in his Vectra! We are trying something different next year and have bought a Boxster, that means the M3 is for sale. You can find the ad here on PH. Would be a good car for someone looking for something reliable and competitive, would also run well in the New Millenium 3 ltr class.

There are plenty of vids - these are used to share with my Dad and the team, so are not edited, but I there are some good dices, mainly with Trevor in his M3.

As for the recent discussions on classes, this is a difficult one, but what I like is the choice. Last year we ran the BMW in MC, New Millenium and were never going to win outright, but a good class position was always possible. Yes it comes down to certain cars being the best in class, but there is another way. We raced in MSVT Team Trophy and 750mc Roadsports where the classes are limited to power to weight. Then there is the complication of a power test and checking (although we were never checked!) but within reason any car can be competitive.

Getting afew things sorted for next season

I've got 3 hard compound and 1 medium compund kumho v70a tyres

I know it shouldn't be done , but has anyone ran with 1 tyre on a different compund ? Would it seriously throw the handling off?

Unless someone has a spare 225/45/17 k90 hard kumho v70a

I am sure that I will still be out with CSCC this season but I am currently looking for a 40 min 2 drivér series like MC or FC that only goes to Donington Park lol!

I have acquired a 3 litre E36 M3 so may use that, but it may be too nice for me to race!!! In that case I may do the new "Transaxle Porsche " class in Future Classics in the 924S.

The E36 M3 is awesome, it handles well and has a great engine. I love it. But.......I am going to sell it, I'm afraid. It's just too nice for me and I'd be afraid to bang it whilst it is still immaculate. I'm afraid that I couldn't afford to damage it, unlike the 924S. So, if you know someone interested in a really nice M3, ready to race (and with its v5) then let me know!

Shame coz our little 325 is now an M3 and was looking forward to as many E36 M3 on the grid as possible

Common Andy.......let it loose at Snett and Silly

Is the E36 M3 in the A class ?
What kind of time can you expect around the Snett 300 circuit ?

It would be a Modern Classics Class D car, 2500-3200cc. Or a 750 Roadsports Class B car; very competitive in the latter particularly I'd have thought.

No idea what time it would do around Snetterton, and in any case, the time that I would get out of it would not be as good as the time that a decent driver would get out of it!!

Id guess Snett 300 could be a 2m 08-10s lap at best as the car currently stands.

Its a 3.2 Evo E36M3 with a little more power and little less weight

Yours might be but mine is only a 3 litre M3 with standard engine power. Your car will be a Class A car.

Still trying to get it together in time.
