Definitely, only driven there once four years ago and Corum instantly became my favourite corner in the country now of course ruined into something completely different.
I rather like the current Corum. In fact I love the Snett 300. In the Radical it's excellent. Getting flat from Nelson as far as you can before the madness of braking for Murrays is just utterly intoxicating. On the topic of JP bashing, I'm very critical of his approach with the new rule, but I think what he has done generally with the MSV circuits is excellent. So I'm not bashing him *just* because it's good sport!

We raced at Anglesey at the weekend. Interesting issue turned up where two tracks met up.
For those who know the circuit, we were on the International Circuit. As you come out of the last corner, on the outside, there is a kerb that runs all the way to the link road for the short circuit. You can clearly run along the kerb, but where it becomes part of the other track, you have to be back inside the line. Caught a couple out until it was explained.
Overall, we've had a pretty pragmatic application of the rules with, in general, more stringent reporting. But that's fine - while it's consistent, nobody will argue.

Yep, that caught me out Jez! Luckily the lap time I had disallowed in quali wasn't my fastest one, and the CoC was very helpful in explaining after I popped up to see them.
Completely agree that there's no problems as long as it's policed in a consistent manner.

Excellent !
No complaints from me - and to be fair to Brands they done something similar at Paddock with I totally support (although using the paddock hill kerb can spit you across the track now).

Just for information 750 had MX5 racing at brands this weekend with some oil around and wet and dry conditions and very few issues . Those that did occur were reported and actioned.
BMW compact cup also very few issues (apart from the one on its roof at paddock).
And you do not get a black flag on an MSV test day for 1 excursion whatever anyone on here says, here is the extract from the document issued by MSV for test days:
Yes we were racing in stock hatch and surprisingly everyone (includng me) was staying within the limits, didn't really have to think about it just knew not to go over the edge and didn't - whereas before I would have always used more than enough kerb exiting graham hill and Paddock hill, must admit surprised how it did not make much difference.BMW compact cup also very few issues (apart from the one on its roof at paddock).

Might be a stupid question, but can the white line be crossed on the left as you come out of Chappel at Silverstone International.

Technically yes. It's still on circuit. http://youtu.be/bBkkWiTa3g8
But probably depends on the COC on the day - therefore best to ask the COC (discretely)

No. There is no "kerb" on the other side of the line so you're not allowed to cross the white line at all. So said the briefing for Britcar in April.Chris.

But there's another white line from the other part of the circuit.
But as Chris mentions - Britcar didn't let you use that area.
Yes, the man on the Clapham Omnibus would probably say that a white line from another part of the circuit wouldn't be the track limit. Also don't the rules say that you mustn't cross the white line if JP's grass is on the other side of it? But as Chris mentions - Britcar didn't let you use that area.

I was midly amused on Saturday at Brands. Everytime someone was recovered from Paddock Hill gravel trap, they were made to drive on the grass all the way round Druids and Graham Hill to prevent gravel on the track. JP did fly in around 3pm in his helicopter - wonder if he was watching on CCTV at home!!
