What did you think? That was a quick time in quali by the way. What sort of bhp per ton do you think you're at?
Was good! think we will do the Snetterton round in October. We are at the top of Class b bhp/ton, only thing we need to do is take off aero or put ballast in to make us fully legal with regs. Simon who got the qualifying time has spent hundreds of hours with Eugene O'Brien doing driver training at Silverstone and always has quick times at there. I only managed a 1.14!

Ahh that's fair enough. I thought it was class C level.

Bit of a nasty bump at Cadwell today in Team Trophy.

Part of being a good racing driver is knowing when a place is lost, no?

Is there an in-car video that shows it? ps I wasn't involved - the team with the orange 968 has replaced theirs with a white one - this was their first race in it. Clio had a head on impact with the end of the pitwall. The driver walked away - yet another example of why HANS should be compulsory?

Which Clio was it? I know the Double-R Racing boys -- hope it wasn't them.

Phew! Great to hear you're Ok. Your car was such a mess - it looked like a really nasty one.

Has the driver of the other car offered to contribute anything towards your repairs? That's what really p'd me off after my Oulton pitwall crash. The other driver didn't even apologise to me, let alone offer to help. Even if it was only a token gesture it'd would shave made a massive difference to what I now think of him.

ps. PM me about South Africa.

Unfortunately not, which kind of confirms the opinion I'd formed based on what happened.
He knows it too - otherwise he'd surely have appealed the penalties and endorsements he copped.

It makes my heart skip a beat when I think of how that could of been an awful lot worse Darren.

I really struggle with some people's mindset when it comes to "racecraft" at times.

Glad to hear your okay Darren, saw the photos on Gingersnaps, guess its a new chassis....mild understatement!

I forwarded the pics to my mate who Im trying to get to be my 2nd driver in the Team Trophy next year. He used to dabble in stock car racing and said he once saw a guy get his car damaged by someone who was reluctant to give up a lost place. After the race had finished the guy drove his now three wheel car off the track and straight into the side of the other guys car transporter and called it even!

What did everyone think of Snetterton this weekend? That qualifying on a wet track was the trickiest of my short racing career, I may as well have been driving on ice! No idea how I managed to qualify 12th considering I couldn't even catch the safety car! Bit of carnage at the start by the looks of it, I had my drivers wing mirror smashed the wrong way which made driving till the pit stop half blind interesting. I went pinging off the track whilst in 9th which was disappointing but managed to fight back to finish 12th. I seem to have totally ruined the balance of the car with increasing the camber at the front. Where it would drift perfectly before the back now snaps out (hence the trip to the grass!) and I was no quicker than in April and the car is 50kg lighter and has a diff! That 2:17.5 fastest lap was quite something!

Brands for the last TDT of the season. Hoping it's wet/damp if I'm honest.
