MSV Team Trophy & Trackday Trophy 2014
Discussion
Hi Stu
You have to register which costs £150
Each race costs £400 bar one which is £450
You can have two drivers
Each race is 45 mins long
There is a 2 minute pitstop where if you have two drivers you switch over
There is 30 mins qualifying (both drivers have to qualify)
There are 5 classes
Class S: 201 – 225 bhp/ton
Class A: 176 – 200 bhp/ton
Class B: 151 – 175 bhp/ton
Class C: 126 – 150 bhp/ton
Class D: Up to 125 bhp/ton
That's bhp per ton at the wheels with you in the car.
Now I'm not saying here you can't do this as I don't know you or your level of skill but it WILL be very competitive. A lot of the competitors are ex Team Trophy guys that have raced a lot with each other. For a newcomer to racing it will be quite scary as you will have a lot of faster cars overtaking you unless you opt for S class in which case you will need big balls.
Watch this vid of our Brands race and you will get an idea of the pace of S class and also see how fast we come up on other cars. In a racing environment you will have cars go left and right of you to keep up with the train they are part of. It is quite merciless actually This race also did not have that many cars in it. I expect TDC to be full grids with 40 cars! It will be busy.

How would you compare this to say the new 750mc Club Enduro for the newcomer who doesn't want that much damage? You have to register which costs £150
