What's the process for starts ?
Assume it's rolling but do you get a full green flag before ?

Last time I was there with CSCC in 2012 the assembly area was the back of the old pits at the bottom of the hill. One lap out to the pits behind a safety car whilst they clear up the preceding race. One green flag lap then go.

Yes, long out lap. Form up on grid. Green flag lap which turns into the start once pace car has pulled in.

I think it's a normal aerial (coax) lead, but it might be the screw in 'Sky' type. Either way, what works in the UK works at Spa. Or at least it did in 2012 - they might have changed it I suppose.

Many thanx it will be the screw on sky type. Great I'm all set for that then.

Does anyone know of places to put tents? Managed to find a tiny strip of grass (overlooking a very steep bank) in 2012, but would prefer someone slightly flatter and bigger. Most of the paid campsites are too far away from the paddock for sensible walking, hotels are too expensive (and fully booked anyway). Do marshals camp? If so, where?

I expect you can camp in the trees just outside the entrance to
Blanchimont pits which we are in. certainly nowhere I remember on the road up to the circuit as that has the kart track on the right hand side and farmers fields on the left. nowhere to camp in the pit area although the lawn outside the Spa drivers club house beside the old pit exit would seam very inviting. We found a hotel 3kms away in Stavelot for £42 per night sleeps two. Mind you we booked back in February.

Do you remember by chance what power sockets are on the pit wall to run a TV? The Marshalls camp out and use static caravans that are situated at the back outside edge of the track at Les Combe end of Kemmel

Your championship coordinator person should send you some vehicle passes that stick on the windscreen. I believe your usual personnel passes should still be valid.
