Well I knew it was Roger's last season in the big class.

Combined decision to sell the car?

Wallace Menzies was a little unlucky, as he was wheeled off the line in Q1, and he got caught in the brief stint of rain in the second session, which made the track greasy enough for Trevor Willis to only sneak into the run off 12th.

Driveshaft went on the line for Wallace.

Roger's rallying next year apparently, so Alex is taking over the sharing duty - I presume Scott will be in it still!

The new Gould has had lots of issues with cooling etc apparently, which has sadly meant Paul Haimes has very rarely been out.

Wow indeed! Hill record went 3 times, first to Trevor, then to Will, and finally to Jos by a huge margin after having to rebuild the front end following a big off in first class runs. I run in the production class (in a GT-R not Skylinecrazy!) and as we run first I get plenty of time to see the big boys play!

You've been going well this year Tony, and have managed to get quite a few class records! You'd probably have won the leaders championship if numbers weren't low at certain events.

Nice thought, but in reality I have a couple of problems called Roy Standley and Robert Lancaster-Gaye preventing a proper shot at the leaders! Anyway, thanks for the comment, have we met??

Sadly not, I'm just a keep spectator who has enough free time to go to virtually all events. Although a purchase has been made so I can compete next year.

Care to tell us what your comp car will be? Are you going to join us in A2, or a lesser class........?!

I wouldn't say lesser, but it's not a road going car anyway. I've got a bike engined Fisher fury which will be out to play hopefully.

I'll say hello if you're at Loton. Doune is a tad too far!

I was at Prescott in the morning, don't think I have ever seen that many crashes does anyone know if the drivers reported any issues with the track. I was stood between Orchard and Ettores, was Jos in the red single seater? If so good skills to come back from that shunt and take the hill record.

Yes, the little red supercharged beastie smile

I've never seen that many crashes either in all honesty, but as far as I know all drivers are reported ok. Some were mechanical issues, at least I know one was. Others were probably just over enthusiasm!

I've a feeling that Jos might overtake Alex for 4th now that Alex is dropping scores

Alex goes quite well at Loton, and only needs 4th places to consolidate his position. Have you got an entry list for Loton Tony? There's not one on the site yet!

Good entry list with no Roy Standley wink

Will you be doing the same again next year?

No Roy, but Robert and Nigel (now the Impreza has got 2 matching diffs!) will be hard to beat!
Probably the same next year, but maybe not so full on! Have you been watching the entries for Eschdorf? Scott, Tom, Trevor and Will are confirmed!!
