Croft Nostalgia Weekend

My first time at Croft and what a great event...shame about the weather but the track is fantastic, definately worth the 8 hour drive.

Thanks for entertaining us; we were very impressed with the Beetle which was surprisingly quick (apart from Rally cross and Drag racing not a common car in motor sport ). The engine note was not at all the usual asthmatic wheeze from the flat four and sounded much more supervee than supermarket run.

We enjoyed your ten tenths approach in qualifying which culminated in the spin out of the chicane - A* for effort and do come back next year, the Nostalgia meeting goes from strength to strength but we still need bigger grids.

Thanks for the vids, the downpour beforehand certainly made the first race a bit damp!

Was a good weekend though, Sunday definitely benefited from the dry weather and seemed quite busy. Although first time to Croft so no idea if it was a good or average crowd.

Dang...I was hoping knowone had seen it....That was me stomping on the gas pedal too early!
