Well Done to 360MC (and MSV) for holding a minute's silence for Mike Smith today; particularly appropriate as he won the Willhire 24 way back when and today's event was flag started by 'Mr Willhire' himself, Roger Williams now of Suffolk Jaguar.

Nice Gesture.

I had no idea this was planned for today and would have observed it if we had known - agree great idea.

Had a good demo run with the Sapphire ('89 Willhire winner) to get it moving again

+ 1 a very good gesture, they managed to win the 24 hr in the S1 RS turbo (Mike Smith and Lionel Abbot) a great achievement doing a 2 driver team in a 24 hr race in a relatively new car that was a lot slower than the top class cars like the Capri Monza Merc 190.

Taking a 1600 turbo to win that event was something special (I remember it as was there with another team).
