The go racing pack has arrived from MSA! time to get reading......

With regards to the medical - should I just book it with my GP - and take the form so that he fills it in? Any help gratefully received?

Many thanks!

I got a GP to do my first medical - every year since I've used the Race Medics people who are at Autosport who charge £75 + VAT.

Ask what the fee is first - its "private" work at the surgery but a fairly straightforward medical and your GP must fill out certain parts of the form and sign it with practice stamp too I seem to recall. I've been charged anything between £60 & £85 in the past. biggrin

Right! ARDS test tomorrow at Brands! Medical all done! I'm good with the flags. I've been reading section Q of the blue book and have watch the DVD a squillion times.....as ready as I'll ever be!

I've got a one on one session in the morning - then the ARDS test in the late morning.....fingers crossed!

Try Oldfield Motorsport. Young team with a couple of immaculate and super reliable (no mechanical retirements last season) Van Deiman RF92's. They won the post 89 National Championship, Northern Championship, Triple Crown and 3rd at the Festival. Lots of wins and poles. Their cars are easy and forgiving to drive.

I think I'm going to give the MR2 racing a go! Relatively inexpensive and quite competitive, so let's see what happens!?!?

Thanks to all.

If you would consider Production BMW which in my opinion is a great series I was talking to 2 people who have cars available for this year for very competitive rates PM me for details if interested .

It's a good close championship but prepare for damage bills. Iirc rouge expect and take into account a little panel work...
