Ooosh, nice one! Will keep an eye on this thread for some more updates, looks like a good start.

Going for lairy wings and carbon bits or keeping the looks relatively standard?

Fair play for giving it a go but do you mind me asking why time attack?

Budget comes into play in every form of motorsport but it seems to have much more of an impact in time attack to the point that you never get to know how good you are as a driver. It doesn't seem much of an engineering challenge either as its all down to how much you spend rather than how good an engineer you can be. Obviously your skills in both areas will come into play but when you are competing against people spending 10x as much how will you gauge progress against your peers?

Maybe worth running the car in a few sprints or hillclimbs?

From watching TA last year it was clear that drivers fell into a very wide range of abilities. Not being unkind but some could really have benefited from spending some time watching how others took corners; some of the lines being taken were catastrophically wrong .
