Just saw this about a Clio being deliberately punted off by a Porsche driver, who was being passed on the inside @ Cadwell Park.

Obviously we only hear the Clio drivers take on things but, having watched this a few times, I'm still not convinced the Porsche driver was aiming to deliberately run the Clio off the road. ''Rammed off the track'' is quite a statement and I just wondered how others saw it? It's clear that drivers in that series can often lean on one another in passing and this appears to be just such an instance to me, albeit a little more clumsy than others.

Either way, I'm glad the Clio driver was OK and hope he's soon back racing.

Mark's link doesn't lead to anything related to a Clio/Porsche event, but Dave's to a previous thread and video is horrendous.

And I can symnpathise. I was taken off on the Hatzenbach Curves at the 'Ring by a GP2 Porsche, who came off with little damage, while my car was a write off.
Racing incident? If only it were, this was in untimed practice, supposedly to familiarise ourselves with Green Hell.

I can't offer a video, but a slide show of the event is on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7R4xeKhGhk&hl...
What is it about Porsche drivers?
Fahr zur Hölle , Herr Porsche!

Thanks chaps. I did look for a previous thread on the matter, but not hard enough it would seem.

Mods may as well lock or delete please.
