Having run our car in the day race at Brands on Saturday (good to see you out again Harris) we hung around to watch the night race and what a spectacle! Complete dark tack (despite it only being 17.45) aside form the pits and start finish line. Great close racing from the 2 Caterhams swapping at every corner (as far as we could see) at one point. Lots of glowing brake discs, shame no flamer cars, our clio would have looked great in the dark and given the weather I regret not entering now.
Just a shame Sundays night race was fogged off, feel for all of you prepared and hanging around for it.

It was definitely a fun race to be in! As a newbie to night racing (by the way, many thanks to Andy Napier for all the advice and help on the day) I learnt a lot.

Principally, get better lights!

To be fair, seeing ahead wasn't so much of an issue as there were plenty of cars around to light the track up before me. The glare from behind was the trickiest bit - not being quite sure where a following car was made for a lot of defensive driving. Overall very exciting though and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well done to the CSCC for staging the event. It's a shame they're not going to repeat it next year, although an understandable decision.

You're very welcome John! Plus, the earth insert I fixed now means I can say that I ran a class winning Porsche.

Nah - to do that you'd have needed to fix the ABS as well!
