22 seems way too low for a semi slick tire. What was the car doing at 26psi? More importantly...what were the tire temps at 26psi?

That I cant tell you exactly as there was a miscommunication on what the tyre pressures were half way through a 30 min quali, although I think we had around 29 psi hot which then became 21 psi cold

Ok so we ran these on my buddies EP3 CTR in Tintops on Sunday and they were a big step forwards over the Fedral RSR's we were running previously. Hot pressures were set at just over 30psi after quali which dropped to 24psi cold. The tyres remained predicable for the duration of the race but for the last 3-4 laps were getting a bit hot and I was getting some understeer, although nothing as bad as the RSR's. Possibly we could have done with dropping 1 or 2psi extra from them...

Visually they held up well and they weren't pulled to pieces like the RSR's were by the end of a 40min race (although they still had plenty of tread left).

I'm currently deciding whether to run the R888R's or Dunlops on my 951, but at the moment I'm favouring the Dunlops as it seems many of the really fast guys are on these and they're not that much more expensive than the Toyos...

Howdy boys and girls! Our race was postponed to Saturday, but we're 100% a go for this weekend so I'm super excited to try em out! I just called Alan at Toyo and he said to treat em like R888's but its likely you'd need to lower the pressure a little bit than you would normally as they're a stiffer construction.
I'll let you know how I get on.

I'm hovering over the buy it now button on a set of these (R888R) for the C63. I have been running AD08Rs on the road and MPSC on track. The 08Rs had the tc light on almost constantly at Goodwood but the MPSC are truly awesome with almost 0 tc light and masses of grip...sadly though, at over a grand now for a set and not much rubber to start I'm worried they won't last 2 full days at the Ring (don't care about driving them on the road as have spare wheels for that).

Anyone used them on a heavier car? I'd be running 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear with 39psi front and 38psi rear hot (stock pressure)...any comments on this also

If I were running something like an AMG I wouldn't be going for toyo, I'd be getting Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I had them on my Z06 (530bhp) and 1400kg, and if you hit the throttle from a rolling start they wouldn't light up the rears in 1st! They're a VERY VERY good tire.

Edited to add, I couldnt race this weekend as I cut the end of my thumb off so I have no info on the R888R's

I have a new set of R888R's for the sprint at Prescott on the 28th. Will be interesting to see how they perform.
