The New 750MC Club Enduro Series
Discussion
I'm a big fan of the 750MC and CSCC
The Enduro race last year was superb. Driving for 3 hours was less of a physical challenge than I expected. The added complexity of fuel stops and strategy took club racing to a whole new level. I should have won it - but lost most of the gears into the last 40mins and did that Days of Thunder, give me any gear pitstop - sadly that gear was 3rd and not much use. Still it was hands down the best race I've experienced.

Couple of questions for those in the know. Is there much difference in the effectiveness (speed) of Tuff Jugg refuelling for this sort of even compared to alternatives? In particular on my 944 it looks like its possible to widen the standard filler by cutting out the OEM reducer in there for normal petrol pump nozzles? I have had an eye on these events since last year (this more than 360) but would only consider it if the cost to get the car ready for such an event as opposed to sprint racing is minimal.
I'm not aware of any alternative to the tuff jug apart from the full house dry break system and that's many £££££££s.
Tuff jug is slower, but if most people are using it then no real handicap.
I may be being naive but I'd have thought that if a car can do a 40/45 min CSCC or Roadsports race then it should be able to do a 2 hour one?

Tuff Jugs take about 70 seconds for 20 litres from what I've been told...Edited by andy97 on Tuesday 23 February 23:08
In terms of fuel usage it varies on power and tank size..

On fuel use? Mine wouldn't. I've calculated I average a litre a minute, and I have a 100 litre tank.andy97 said:
No I didn't mean on fuel useage, I just meant on a cars general capability to last 2 hours. My car will last about an hour and five to ten minutes on a tank. So a refuel at the driver change will be essential. Same for most people I'd have thought.
Ah, gotcha. I suspect my car can last longer than I can!andy97 said:

In my experience generally not, mainly to do with heat build up. I.e the diff in the Tuscan starts to complain after about 30 mins without a cooler an hour without one and it's easily toast, same for the box. Wheel bearings are another item that can die quite quickly.
It's generally cooling various bits of the car that you need to consider to get a sprint car to do a couple of hours.
