HUGE thanks to Marshalls at Silverstone 8 May.

Hi guys,

I know some marshalls frequent these forums and just wanted to say a massive thanks to those at Silverstone yesterday! My car caught fire at the pit entrance in the TVR qualifying session and they were brilliant! Especially as there was another car on fire not 50 yards away...

Thanks for your efforts at getting the fire out quickly! Although it seemed like an eternity I'm told it wasn't lol! You guys I'm sure have saved a lot of damage to my pride and joy!

Us TVR lot are always friendly with the marshalls lots of us stopped over the weekend to talk to them lol... But as Dave Says, Thankyou guys we are all in this sport we love so much together and without each other we are all at home doing the gardening or decorating...

Thankfully all I needed was a push and a tow back to the paddock, but with two cars on fire I dont envy all the marshals who had to run in that heat lugging fire extinguishers...
