Well done, Sevenoaks & District!

In 2010, the Sevenoaks & District MC had the brilliant idea of reviving the old Crystal Palace Grand Prix circuit as the venue for a sprint event. Since then, "Motorsport at the Palace" has become a great success, so much so that the hard working Club officers have now engaged a professional event organising company to run it. And they chose well, as this year's event, last weekend was better than any.

Well done SDMC, for the original idea and for building it into such a great event. Not only one that is fun to take part in, but that must do more to attract new people into motorsport than any other. When the Palace is as good as being in the centre of London, many visitors who stopped to chat at my car were first timers at any such event. Youngsters as well as oldies, so I hope that the MSA take note.
