I want to go racing....

Shows how good the racing is in a one-make series and why I'll always look at those over a mixed grid series.
Same here... more action in 13 minute + 1 lap sprints sometimes than in a 40 minute endurance race. Exhibit B: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmsJCCDm9EL...

There are pros and cons of both clubs but, as a member of both clubs, I just happen to think that CSCC has a far better and friendlier paddock and far better driving standards.
Ouch, I think that's a bit harsh, Andy. I'm a member of both 750mc and AMOC, and have been a member of CSCC in the past, as you know. I think they are all very friendly paddocks. Everyone who has done the Birkett knows what a friendly club 750mc is. I recently did 2 races with them - Armed Forces Challenge and Roadsports - and it was a fun, friendly, contact - free day of racing. I'll definitely be going back for more with 750mc.Edited by andy97 on Saturday 2nd July 22:31
I'm half way through my first season with Ginetta as part of the GRDC. Easy route into motorsport. 2nd race video below. I'm in the Corkers Crisps sponsored blue, white and red car. Finished 4th, 5th and 4th so far from a grid of 23 cars. Good bunch of people, good fun and fairly civilised (although 2 cars had a major shunt on the last corner of this race back in 9th and 10th).

Shameless plug but also here's a few years worth of blogs, from completely clueless to running my first race on the weekend - might be useful.

I just posted this for another chap, so sorry for the copy and paste.
CTCRC Pre05 prod saloons has to be once of the cheapest ways in to motorsport at the moment. To prove a point ,our chairman has just built a puma for under 2k from start to finish.

The cars run on toyo road tyres so you in theory you can drive to the track!

I was chatting to him at Brands last Sunday and couldn't believe that the Pumas were running stock suspension and still had the a/c hooked up haha!CTCRC Pre05 prod saloons has to be once of the cheapest ways in to motorsport at the moment.
