World rallycross starts this weekend, last year it was live on Quest but cannot see it listed anywhere. It is on anywhere apart from Eurosport which I cannot get.

Thanks
Steve

I can't even see it on Eurosport either.

I've searched through the Youview app also, nothing!

Just found this buried on the FIA website

FIA said:
Details of where to watch the 2017 World RX TV show will be revealed at the official season launch on Thursday 30 March with a press release scheduled for the afternoon.

https://www.monsterenergy.com/news/hoonigan-racing...

I think Monster energy streamed live last year on there 'YouTube' site

"Catch the new Hoonigan Racing liveries in the metal along with Block and Bakkerud going wheel-to-wheel with the competition in Barcelona this weekend (April 1/2). Can’t make it out to Spain? Check out the exclusive livestream here"

This is disappointing if it's gone from free tv.

Very disappointed it's moving to subscription tv only, we don't have sky or virgin so we've no way of watching it now frown

Before you get too excited they geo-blocked the live stream last year when it was shown on Quest, if they do the same this year anyone without Sky or Virgin is going to be stuffed.

I don't want to watch it on a laptop when I have a big tv in the corner much more suited to the purpose.

Connect laptop to the TV via HDMI cable. This is what I do when streaming racing events.

It seems they're doing the same as they did last year - showing the full day's racing live online, but only doing highlights of Q1-4 on TV and then following it with the live semi-finals and final.

Install a VPN extension on Google Chrome and you should be able to watch the online stream in the UK wink

EDIT - maybe not, I think the online streams and TV broadcasts are synced up this year

Yep.

I didn't get to see much of it last year either, as there were no post event highlights shows, only live on Quest, and life often gets in the way of that on a Sunday.

Haven't even got that now.

Oh well.

Sorry to kick you while you are down but last year ITV4 showed a one hour highlights show at 8PM on the Tuesday after each event.

Did they....!!

I'm astonished I never came across that at any time....given I do watch ITV4 quite a lot eek
Will need to check to see if they do so again this year.........if so, I'll be happy with that, as can easily avoid the result until a few days after the event.

Fingers crossed.

You won't be disappointed, I went to Loheac last year and it was stellar*. My friends & I are trying to get to Germany this year which will be a fun drive!

  • Solberg winning a qualifier with a really fast time despite having to do 2 jokers was amazing!

Just checked ITV4 schedules for next 2 weeks from today, and there's no highlights programme, so looks like they aren't doing it this year.
