Does anyone know what size hole I need to fit Lifeline extinguisher pulls? I won't bore you with tbe reasons why I don't need or want to buy the extinguisher yet.

Cheers

I seem to recall it being about 13mm for the handle end, the cable is about 4mm.

Really? 13mm seems awfully big.

Yes it is something like that... The fitting the T-handle sits in is quite chunky.

No problem, dont forget to leave plenty of room around the handle for a marshall's svelte hand and gloves, otherwise the scruitineers may whinge wink

Or you might whinge if they can't fire your bottle... and your car is on fire?
Yeah - I know the drill - I have fitted them before but have a new chassis 'on the go' and wanted to fabricate a bracket without buying the extinguisher yet.

I shall resist the temptation to question their usefulness in the event of a proper all-out flame fight. eek

I think it's more about giving you more time to get out the car & save your live rather than saving the car

Thats exactly what theyre for. +1 for 13mm. I have a couple of handles here which require a similar sized hole.
