My thought's are that the old selection of stuff was better. I want stickers without a white background back and the old merchandise or equivilant back! Very unimpressed with the new selection of stickers and Bang Tidy stickers etc look too chavvy. T-Shirts look ok though the range needs extending, but I want a sticker for the new car and I can't order one that looks worthy of adorning my motor.

I may only be a simpleton but I believe the Bang Tidy sticker isn't a PH related one.
I suspect that rather than trawling through a complete mixture of merchandise on the 7 PH related pages you clicked on the "Stickers" link on the "PistonHeads.com" branded page which took you to the FULL shotdeadinthehead range of stickers - of which several are nothing to do with PH (although most are).

You might have noticed that the pistonheads.com header has disappeared.

Clearly PH don't care about being associated with a bunch of tat which could be avoided by adding one simple filter to the site.
It's too much like hard work.

Which one specifically are you after? The people who are producing our stickers are the ones who originally did them (back in Ted's day) and most of the original range is on sale. Some of the images in the shop are a bit misleading though and suggest a white background when there isn't one. Let me know and I'll do my best to clarify.

The bang tidy stuff isn't ours, and I agree that this stuff is tacky.

We are not too far away from having a more obvious PH area, and that means you'll know when you leave the PH 'zone' and enter another. At present it is confusing.

regarding stickers, at present we have concentrated on T's and the launch of the phone covers. Stickers are the next area to focus on, so expect a few more 'normal' stickers and some more creative ones over the next few months.

Good to hear, as the product range is really good now IMHO, but a bit let down by the UX of trying to buy stuff.

Etched effect smileys please!

The etched effect are often asked for, yet oddly were never a huge seller for us when they were available.

When we changed supplier we chose the top selling stickers to carry over, but if there is a demand for something we don't produce then we'll always seek to provide it.

It's more the colour on the white background looks cheap IMO compared to the orange one I had on my Mini, which stuck directly on the car and looked the business. I think it was the 3.5" but if I'm thinking it surely others must be too, maybe pictures of the decal on a car would be more appropriate?

Paul's handling all this stuff, but if you're talking about the smiley logos, the image is misleading. They are cut outs and sit directly onto paintwork, rather than on a white background.

I just ordered a 3.5" Union Jack Smiley. This doesn't come with a white background does it?

no background, just individual printed peices of vinyl to make up the logo

Same question, but there's no background. The stickers are die cut, and the individual components stick directly onto your car. If you've bought from us in the past, these are EXACTLY the same. Buy with confidence! thumbup

I ordered some stickers in black, silver and red from ShotDead - they wrote to me to apologise that they didn't have those colours in stock but had some others (including red) and did I want an exchange or a refund. I asked for 2 stickers and the balance to be refunded to my paypal. I've now had a full refund and no answer as to whether I need to re-order the stickers in the colours they've got. Hmmmm.

I think it's awful, for le mans I ordered 9 days before I left (enough time you would think). No notification from the shop my order will be delayed finally after a few phers had ordered after me and got there stuff I contacted the shop. Now I was assured that the order would be sent recorded and it would be with me Tuesday morning (day of departure). Tuesday contacted them and told sorry again, I think that is pretty cr@p service as it they had been honest I could have changed to a different size stickers or gone somewhere else. Would now love to say I wouldn't use them again but you have to get the stickers somewhere.
