I'd cleaned the area etc, went to peel the 2 parts off & 'stick it to the car' but when i peeled it apart the sticker was still stuck to the thicker paper, hence the confusion.
Sounds like a sticker / paper malfunction...rolleyes

a way around this now is to simply cover the sticker in layers of masking tape, rub it down, lift the smiley off the backing paper, stick on your car, rub down again and carefully peel off the masking tape

Not impressed.
The bike lives in-doors and is only washed with light detergent, I'm careful/mindful not to get polish on the decal too......but still it is fading already!

One of my stickers has begun to peel off the rear window (can post pic).

I've tried to order another from shot dead in the head but everytime I click the link it sais I've nothing in my basket. I've done this numerous times now and have quit in frustration.

Any help would be nice.

Was it a SDITH sticker or a Dread sticker?

Not 100% sure, think SDITH.

Not a good sign. Years of happy Dread stickering and ne'er a problem. We've only had SDITH stickers a short while and already there are issues.

It's more me than the sticker though. I got mud splattered over the headrests and rear window as I didn't shut the window as I sped off from a checkpoint. In my attempt to clean it off the sticker came with it. Also I imagine it doesn't help having tinted windows.

Stickers a sticker, I've got a couple on the outer blades of my spoiler which like yours have been unphased by a couple of years weathering. As you can see it's part of the smiley face thats come off, the rest is solid.

I just can't order another for some reason. Computer sais no.
