What's that? 50% of profits go to UNICEF?

That's really awesome!

Huh?
I was just mildly suggesting that a charitable gesture wouldn't have gone amiss regarding the sale of children's t-shirts. Like, say a small offering to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Christmas pressies or something similar. Seemed like a no brainer to me, you'd sell more t-shirts and there's a little contribution to a good cause at the end of it. A win win if there ever was one and hardly an outlandish suggestion as almost all businesses relating to children do something like this at some point.

I know, I know...I'm speaking out of line and guilt tripping private enterprise is not the done thing. Apologies.

I still don't see how kids sizes means an automatic donation to charity should be given, I just don't. A charity shirt is a very cool idea, assuming that we should do it simply because the shirts are for smaller folk is less so.

PH does lots for charity, as I hope you know, but I really don't see your point. To suggest we are being 'corporate' because we aren't donating profits (or part of) from this range is quite extraordinary.

Can we just agree to disagree here?

It just seemed to me you had a bit of a snotty tone from the get go, for no apparent reason. You see the other suggestions for stuff, light hearted, and constructive, that is probably the best way to go about it, rather than posting what you did, with a rolleyes attached.

Just sayin, or whatever folks say nowadays.

Now should I buy one for my daughter now that she can wear as a dress or wait a couple of years until she's big enough? smile

You're right, that rolling eyes smiley was an error and I honestly didn't think. I suspect I was in a mood after spending too many hours watching rolling news channels!

No, I agree. I think I was in a Ewan McGregor type frame of mind at the time, planning a jaunt around the world with a bag full of vaccines for Unicef!

yes Funnily enough there's a PH charity appeal currently running here that will benefit all, young and old alike (in fact anyone who might be unfortunate enough to find themselves in hospital needing blood supplies urgently).

And there's not even a need to buy a T shirt. wink Simply go here or text "SERV60 £10" to 70070. thumbup

Disappointed that they don't do smaller sizes. 4-5 as the smallest size seems a bit silly frown

As said, it's not a bad idea at all...just could have been worded better. Time to move on.

Please note ... there's only one "l" in "Savile" - like there's only one "s" in "dirty old bd"
