I thought shipping was always charged?
It is, I can't get an order to appear without postage so not sure how this one came about. I will let Racing Pete know just in case there is a problem.

Shipping should be added BEFORE Vat is calculated...
It is.

Or rather it's just added at every stage of the order process, so until shipping is added (at checkout) it only had the item's costs to work with.

I did, it was blue and the smiley wasnt sideways, so I suppose I didnt.

I also timeed myself though whilst wearing it, it actually makes you go faster, overtaking other pedestrians has never been more fun.

This thread is stickied (see the icon on the left when looking at the topic list - it's different to the usual folder icon) so it always remains at the top, irrespective of how recently it's been contributed to.

VATMAN will smack you legs....

He has the power of arrest...

Not a lot of people know that...smile
That is exactly correct, ..... several years ago, I made a similar mistake thinking that postage did not contain any VAT element, and therefore I wouldn't charge it myself! No, Mr Vatman decided differently, and went through my books, and made me pay the VAT I should have charged, and hadn't. As a large part of my business was mail order, he stung me for a considerable sum, explaining that I was within my rights to contact each customer, and ask for the VAT that I should have charged. Very funny I thought!!!!

VAT is paid on the postage, but you are correct in observing that it hasn't been detailed separately like it has on the goods themselves.
