Not in a million years is that monster going to fit in an Ultima.
You have taught me why the Carrera weighs so much despite being made out of such light material.....it is that giant space ship looking transaxle.
The weight of this giant ship is 60 Kg its even lighter than an G50 and has no much overhang behind the axle meaning less polar movementYou have taught me why the Carrera weighs so much despite being made out of such light material.....it is that giant space ship looking transaxle.
Wow,
No way will that space ship fit in an Ultima.
Not prepared to trade a higher C of G for a marginally better polar moment. Also, with the proper gear lightening methods Ot is likely that you can approach the same weight with a G50 series transaxle.
There is no way in the world that is going in an Ultima, ever.

If you look at the input shaft height (above the bottom of the bellhousing plane) the issue will be finding an engine to couple up that has a sufficiently low crank! The CGT engine is of course full dry sumped and uses a multiplate carbon clutch to enable a really low crank height. Connecting this g/box to say an LS engine would be a 'mare !!
Best to put both CGT engine and box in, if you ask me.......... ;-)
