This car will definately sound great cant wait to see you complete this.
which management system do you plan to use
hi steven,
the engine management system i'm using is a combination of a "DTA S100 PRO" and my own controller unit. As the DTA S100 is only capable of controling the basic functions of the engine (e.g. fuel, spark, ) but has some nice features which make sense using like traction control, lambda target mapping, launch control, switchable maps, ease of programming and it is priced very reasonable among the very few ECUs which can deal with a odd fire V10.
As the BMW V10 is a very complex engine, there are functions to control, which will lead beyond the capabilities of the S100.
For controlling them, i have developed my own controller unit to address functions like lambda sampling, EGT sampling, ion sensing ignition, 'fly by wire' setup, g-force controlled el. oil pumps, CAN communications......
BTW, how is your project going on?

All is good and on track I have send you emails with pictures on the project
currently gathering all the parts and sending the engine for development

KMS (kronenburg motorsport) in geldrop makes a set and parts for your motormanagement system that you need.
Yeap I know I will have the mechanical side finished first than when it is back might do it on a dyno with management first after Dyno install in the car with engine etc than again dyno time.hope I will be on the north side of 650 ponies
Just a little bit of motivation this sound is heavenly notting beats this sound

Hi Florian,
Welcome to the Ultima World and some real great people
If you want to contact Sven, try here: http://www.ultimacars.de/
I am a nearby neighbour (Switzerland), but you have to cross the Alpes south if you want to see me in Locarno... Great place except when it rains!
Sending you a PM
Daniel
