Can anyone clarify this for me please... I believe I need a power supply for the LS3 fuse box ( the one that comes as part of the engine wiring loom and ECU ). I got my ECU loom from parts world which may help identify which one I have. There's two threaded terminals on the fuse box and my guess is that i need to attach a heavy + power cable to one of them, is this correct? If so, can I run the heavy cable straight from the battery to the fuse box or do I need to have it connected via a relay so the power is supplied only when the ignition is on? Cheers Pete

The power needs to be permanent and passes through relays and fuses in the 'box'. Depending where the 'box' is installed it may be easier to take the supply from the starter motor. There is a separate ignition switched supply into the 'box' which then brings the whole shebang to life. I think Ultima use the original electric choke wire to do this.

There is a third terminal which is unfused so be careful not to use this one and as Steve says there is a wire in the engine loom (pink I think) that connects to the ignition switch.

Brilliant stuff guys, it all makes sense now and yes there is a pink ignition switch wire that I've already wired into the loom. I'll just have to check carefully which terminal I attach the main power feed to ... Thanks for the warning about that one. Pete
