alfasteve said: That looks very neat and tidy this is a Job well done from both A.B and you as well you should work in Mac Racing his race team and swap his box in 30 min in between races Won't be any need with our new box! Once you have done it a few times, its very straightforward, the only difficulty is that pesky clutch release fork. Is that an Accusump fitted under the box at the back?

no that is an inline Peterson oil filter on the pressurized side of the dry sum system. been putting the turbo take cylinder today, unfortunately needed cutting one brace of the chassis that I will reweld later so I can access the take cylinder. Also done clutch bleeding with a friend of mine even with my new sucking tool it is still a painful job with a lot of cursing involved. But now done and the clutch although heavy still ok for me.. So the standard turbo take cylinder with its hydraulic assistance will work ok with the standard ultima master cylinder. Be ready to cut the chassis though !

and for the record the bleeding was a nightmare again, but I have been told by a car mechanic that it works much better if you fill the system from the cylinder side , next time !

Wow, that's quite drastic surgery. Why did you choose to use the turbo slave cyl & chop the chassis, rather than using a GT2 cyl release fork? Here's my install.... same 'box, but with GT2 clutch actuation and no chassis issues:

this requires machining the box, and you need different internals, i rather have the standard setup from porsche and i was too lazy to take the box out again welding a beam seemed easier to me and i have not given up on the idea of using the hydraulic support. i wonder if you could use the pressurized circuit of the dry sump system that would be an interesting bit of information where the take cylinder is connected in the 997 turbo setup

No worries Spatz. The gearbox casing has the markings for where it needed to be opened out, then it just needed a pair of holes tapping for the retaining bolts. The release fork is a straight swap, so no big deal. AB did all this for me while they were converting my gearbox to 2WD, so I can't take the credit Always interesting to see different setups
