It's a 34 Touch LED Interior Light No 'Touch' button - you can get one with a touch button as well, but then you cant use it with a remote button or door switch... I got it from these people: http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/shop/112-34-touch-led-in...Brill! Hopoe it works for you....

Well, Keith I was thinking the same thing upon seeing how things were so quite these last days. It must be winter approaching and when people and vehicles get to hibernate... I'm sure posts will pick up soon and I certainly will be probably asking plenty of questions in the future when I get down to assembling and building my Can-Am after it arrives around Christmas. I just can't wait to get started. My workshop is practically ready and equipped with the necessary tools and other bits and bobs. I now just need to get the parts cut and welded then painting the build trolley, as per Stig's recommended work of art. The only difference I will do will be regarding the top tubes which will be welded further down the end boxes to give better under chassis accessibility. I probably will also get a build site up and running on the internet because my Ultima may be rather special, but hush for the moment...

UltimaCH said: Another part for (from) a Land Rover? Isn't there something in the Ultima front lights from Land Rover origin too ? Yes, I think so! The Landy market is very well developed and has some good bit that can be used for all sorts of things, not necessarily for LR. That interior light is a serious bit of kit... when I got it (its very thin designed for surface mounting), I was a bit dubious, cos lots of these kind of lights are very poor and underpowered, but this beast is exceptionally bright... took me by surprise when I fired it up...

I suspect that I will also ask the odd question or two.
(I haven't gotten as crazy as to ask and respondto my own posts yet, but who knows. All things being equal, the build will be ready Easter time ish give or take a prevailing wind and allowing for Atlantic drift.
( Mine is an LS3 in black.) ).

Ok, I'm still about but busy at the moment. Trying to get a few things done outside while the weather is not (too) wet. I will have most of the winter and early spring to play in the workshop on one or two projects.
On the Ultima, I am changing to some road tyres and narrower front rims to reduce tramlining. The wide fronts are great on track but the flat profile leads to excessive tramlining on the very poor British roads. Ordered a new set of Image wheels for the car for next season as she will come off the road for the winter I think.
