Remembered me of the old days: nicotine leather, so I took it.

That looks lovely - can't go wrong with the Bentley style quilting.

Daft question, but I take it you've checked the fit with the Recaros? It's a tight squeeze with two seats - even more so if you're running a central gearshift.

Maybe Recaro Profi or Apex?
I have the Recaro PolePosition in my GTR.
I have no problems with headroom even with a helmet but taller guys will.
Yes it is tight. The Porsche shifter does not fit between the seats.
Thinking of using Recaro Profi SPG as it is 35 mm narrower and a better
fit for me.

Recaro Profi SPG, changed it a bit on the bottom, made it flat to win 3 cm, can't explain so will make a picture of it.

The audi 5.2 easely gives +/-600hp and +/-600Nm, and it goes like hell from 1800 to 8000 rpm.
I won't tell you the cost because "learning" the engine cost also a lot of time.
For instance timing of the camshafts took 5 times (x4hrs) of opening the engine and adjusting the 4 of them.
But was worth it and gave that extra 60hp and lots of torch that was in there..
I think tuner van Kronenburg in holland is using a lot of that knowledge to prepare Lamborghini V10 engines for the UK now.

The gearbox is recardo 6 speed sequential dogbox type from the GT2 race porsche.

Using a LS7 with factory setup of course is better for your wallet.
