Probably depends on the year. These days it is a requirement for our IVA test prior to registration.
Prior to this it was probably not included as it makes the look of the rear lights lop sided.

you can,
either have 2 fogs and a reverse by the gearbox or 2 reverses and a fog in the centre by the box?

or like me ... 2 side/brakes, 1 indicator and fog in the centre

I was thinking of indicators on the outside one with fog and one with reverse light.
On what side does the fog belong?

Depends on the regulations for your country.
In the UK it must be on the right (or 'offside') or it can be central Or you can have one each side.
In the UK the fog must be at least 100mm away from a brake light.

Sorry for digging up that old thread...

I am forced to connect the reversing light (here in italy you are forced to have her) on my car but I do not understand if it is prearranged to.

Someone have a wiring diagram understandable? The one I have colors are mixed (or a pic about connectors).

Thank you!!!!!

What year is your car?

Do you have standard or LED lights?

There are subtle differences at play as to how to wire up for each combination of loom / light type.

I think about leaving the fog lights as standard UK
and put a reverselight in the middle on the gearbox.
Can that be a problem?

What sort of problem were you thinking?
Do you want it just to indicate you are reversing or do you want it to illuminate behind the car.
What regulations apply in your country?

I would assume European Union regulations would apply as Joop (donkeasy) is in Holland
