Does anyone in the midlands area have a dolly they wish to sell/donate?

Not needed until April.

I have one located near Lymington in Hampshire... I might be able to transport it to South Bucks for collection. I don't need any money for it, but I would like the option to have it back once you are finished with it. It's not going anywhere, so just let me know nearer the time if this works for you. It has been modified so that it can be dis-assembled, and bolted back together...

I still have a dolly available for a new builder in the South, for collection from near Lymington.

how much? and will it come part to go in the back of my A6 estate or at least have the long tubes strapped to the roof.

Im def going to be building one of these in the near future after 8 years lurking around.

sorry being a dick, saw the previous post saying it comes apart and you dont want anything for it as you would like it back, if you are interested in taking some money for it for a permanent arrangement let me know, or ill use the guides online to weld something up myself. Cheers

If you are going to build a dolly, I would recommend fixing/bolting/welding the brace tubes with a larger distance to what is shown on the on-line drawing (Stig's build sites). This way you'll have easier access for your hands when working under the chassis.

Mine I made with detachable ends for storage, much larger wheels with locks(easier to move around, especially if you have garage floor tiles), height adjustable posts on each corner for less bending and so I could do stuff underneath without the cross braces getting in the way!

Sorry but CJ got mine a few years ago!!

thanks for that, so the top rails are only about 50/60mm lower than the original design then.

I don't think I need it back - if you can collect it from Milford-on-Sea, you can have it,

Send me a PM if you like.
