My concern is that the gap below indicates the rad is too high. I believe it will touch the underside of the front clip.

Neat and better than mine, specially with the cut-outs for the rad ribbings.

To Steve: If the rad is sitting correctly on the bobbins, why would it be too high and not clear the clip?

the answer is above, the bobbins should set on the lower floor.

I see what you mean. Had not spotted that in the earlier photo.

The tray under the rad is double skin. There should be a clearance hole in the top skin with the bobbin sitting in it and bolted through the lower skin.

Mine sat in a similar position, maybe a little bit lower. But these dimensions are controlled by the factory when they weld in the mount plates and ship rubber bobbins at a specific size.

Never seen a radiator set on such small cushions, usually they are twice that size.

there are mounting brackets in the frame for these rear rad mounts. they don't mount on the lower floor.

How big is the hole underneath the radiator now?
Maybe you shoot bent the radiator-lips a bit!

Nope it remains where it's at, it won't make that big a difference

Hmm I see that Ultima does have a aluminum radiator I wish I would have seen that prior to shipment. Oh well ... back to the to-do list.

Wiring, taged most of the components, a few colors off. Having sold wiring harnesses in Silicon Valley for many years I can say these are pretty good cables, terminations look sound it would save a lot of time if the manufacturer would label the harness while it's on the jig board. I guess this a test for us builders and a way to educate us on whats ahead for us in the build. However that said it's never good electrically if someone should make a mistake and get the labeling wrong.

Since my build is more towards the old school look I tossed those funky blue hoses and had Viper build me some new ones using there retro look!

I even got a free key chain!!!
