This would be a mistake IMO.
You don't need 45PSI, a 7psi(or so) high volume pump will take the stress out of the system in heat, amps and noise.
Agreed!

Thanks again for the info .... but have to say I have seen such systems using such pumps as primary pumps.

So suggestions to low press / high volume pumps available..brands etc...

What power output are you expecting to go to?
Something like a Facet 60302 Posi-Flow to lift the fuel to the pot and a Bosch 044 pump for the injection to 500+ bhp and a pair of bosch 044's if you are going higher wink
I've just replaced an Aeromotive A1000 for this set up:

A nice way to mount two pumps and a filter on one bracket.

Holley Black Profuel as primary pump (with -10AN fittings and hose) 120GPH at 9psi or 140GPH at freeflow.
Twin Bosch 044 for HP.
Cheers,

Yep, what he said sounds perfect.
With a twin pump secondary set up if one pump fails, with the correct set up you still have the prospect of being able to drive in "limp" mode this was one of the reasons I went for the twin 044's on my boosted set up.
