Hope to be there. went a couple of years ago, good turnout of Ultimas, all sorts and they had a large area roped off for all Ultimas to park together. Even got a free bottle of bubbly from Ted for turning up!

Hope the weather is good - not too much fun in an ultima without the girly roof option when its raining!

Hope to sniff each others exhaust pipes !!

Think I should be there in a Gtr on Monday, going to Donnington on the Sunday. So should be a great car weekend!! Hope to see many Ultimas at Stoneliegh, lets see what we can all do!!!!!!

I want to go, but it'll depend on jet lag & wifey as I'll only be home for part of the weekend due to back to back international work trips Oh and as I don't have a girly roof or a windscreen, I'll need good weather too, LOL!

I hope to be there on one of the days if I can finish building my paint booth and get the rear clip finished.

If you drive an Ultima you are (or will be soon) a customer. I may have purchased a second hand car but I must have spent almost the cost of a new kit on bits with the Factory!!!!

I think the Factory realise that having a good turn out of Ultimas helps sell the product (hence the vino which was much appreciated) as it shows the variety that can be achieved, and it is the Ultimate (or at least one of the ultimate) self build cars out there and draws a crowd which then visit the stand.

I'll be there on the Sunday. (Haven't missed Stoneleigh since the GTR "hit the road' 14 years ago, although the days of 10 car convoys arriving are a thing of the past!)

I'm up for a convoy into Stoneleigh. I'm located in South Bucks, will travel out of my way to blat with fellow Ultima owners. Did the same a couple of years ago in the Caterham, meeting in Banbury for a convoy blat to Stoneleigh which was very memorable indeed.

If I have time to refit my rear clip, I will be up on Sunday, coming up from the Cheltenham area.
This bluddey knee problem has really slowed me down... dammit!

BTW folks, just be vary careful of the A46 in partiular - SCP will no-doubt be rubbing their hands in glee - hiding around every corner and on top of bridges to take advantage of the jamboree of kit-cars wazzing their way to and from the show.....I spotted them on a bridge last time... the sneaky ******!!! Just be careful and be safe!

According to the online show guide the "Ultima Park" is located at "Top of Block 59, Avenue M". I believe this is the same location as last year, ie about 200 yards from the entrance, on the left.

You could camp on the Ultima stand................if you finish your car.

I have serious withdrawal issues, and mine has only been off the road for 6 months!

If you fixed it you could enjoy your (limited) time off.

It's coming along. Wiring is pretty much done. Fuel system is done. Engine bulkhead has been stripped down so I could fit heat matt. That was completed at the weekend so all the gear can now go back into place.
Inlet manifold and airbox are done.
Engine needs a good clean before it goes back in and the gearbox needs painting.

Getting there but after working on cars all day the incentive to then work on your own in the evening is pretty low.

I and my Pug 306 will be camped on the Ultima stand so will see you thereabouts.

The plan is Goodwood Breakfast Club on the Sunday, so definitely Stoneleigh on the Monday for me now.
