You know, it can be quite embarrassing about losing any throttle response out-of-the-blue, especially when being followed by a rather large pan-tech in a queue of traffic!

This happened to me last year, and I found that the throttle body connector seemed to have moved slightly. With some wiggling and replugging, the problem vanished, and I was on my way, albeit with a rather red face, and no problems since...

...until yesterday... It must be heat related as it only happens now if the car stands for a while after a drive - so heat related I think. Time to replace the connector as the first step....

I suspect the plug, but I am having trouble finding a source for them (6 pin?)

...any ideas folks?

Can you put a cable tie on to hold the connectors together?

Ballenger Motorsports in the US. http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/index.php/cPath/1...

I've used them several times...good fast service..no problems.
Ordered some patch leads from them a few months back and they arrived within a few days.
