I will be driving the Ultima a fair bit in the next two months while on leave. For Owners who are on the road, what plans do you have? There is so many events to choose from this time of year. This is my choice:

To see & support MacGracing at Silverstone in the Britcar Racing – 12th April.

PH Sunday Service at the Morgan factory. – 13th April. Currently on the reserve list – usually many drop outs and will be on the list!

Ace Café - Petrolhead Nirvana evening meet - Monday 14th April.

Goodwood Breakfast club – 4th May - maybe, especially if gain access to show car on the circuit that I have pre registered for.

Stoneleigh Kit Car Show – 5th May – A must.

Silverstone track day - 12th May

Welsh blat weekend 16th – 18th May.

Also plan to fit in a Vmax run – so look out for the video!

I hope to meet many of you along the way.

Hi Jim

I am aiming to make the Stoneleigh Show but have a lot to do to be ready.

I am off to Le Mans again including a bit of touring Northern France on the way home.

I will make at least one of the Britcar GT races to see Jonny spank the opposition. Not Silverstone though.

A track day (well at least one) probably after Le Mans.

I plan a 200mph attempt (but probably a private session) at some point.

The car will probably provide transport for some of my information gathering trips for my Rolls Royce Special project as it tends to open doors....

I am limited to 4K miles a year for insurance and 2K are likely to be in France so will need to be a little sparing.

For me, any excuse to get out is usually all I need ;-)

13th April - PH SS @ Morgan or V8 UK Power Launch, not decided which yet

4th May - Possibly Stoneligh show, business travel & mom's birthday are threatening to scupper that tho' frown

17th May - North Wales Hoon

2nd - 7th July - Germany for VLN endure & other driving

Most months.... Shelsley Walsh Breakfast Club and / or "The Butty Run"

Sporadically... Sporting Bears Dream Ride events around the UK (CPoP, NEC Classic Car Show, Stratford, Liverpool One, CarFest)

Then anything else inbetween that pops up ;-)

paul if you are thinking 200 mph then there is only 2 places to do it, bith covered in bad tarmac and lots of stones.. maybe best you cover certain areas in clear plastic wrap as you will regret it afterwards and need a trip to respray the car.

Not got as far as thinking about where to make the attempt. Far too many things need to happen before the car is ready and I would not even consider making the attempt before Le Mans (after last year's balls up!).

Thanks for the advice on stones. I did an airfield run in the Cerbera and can't believe aircraft are allowed to use them with all that carp being thrown up!!!

What is Bruntingthorpe like? Should I put an order for a front new clip & windscreen now. My current front body work is fairly peppered in tiny chips already.
