Factory Open day

Who is planning to go to the Factory Open Day next Sunday?

Hope to make it again. I will have nothing to eat for at least 2 days before hand to try to get some of my money back!!!

Would be nice to see some of the cars that have been completed in the past 12 months.

I might turn up but I have some stuff to do to the car first, I'm quite keen to go and see if I can put a couple of the gold BBS style wheels up to my car to see if they look right.

I'm surprised to see so many owners absent. I thought it was a known thing that the FOD was always the first Sunday of August...
OK I would be there, but the distance is somewhat a negative factor for me. Regret the grub though

Unfortunately my wife did not remember this, and booked a few days away from Saturday!! Hence I will not be attending, the first time in 14 years!

i too normally make the 200 mile trip if i can .

Anyone thinking of going its a fab day and the factory really look after you well.

its unfortunate now, as there are so many event on every weekend, and these last few weeks have been mental for me as Silverstone Classic last weekend, car fest next and Wilton House the week after.. it will add 500 miles to the clock and 3 flat out weekends in a row.

I'm glad you'd posted this, for some reason I got my dates mixed up, thought I was away and had mentally written this off..... having just checked, I was wrong and I'm free! Now I've got 1,500 miles worth of European bugs to clean off the car before Sunday, LOL! Fingers crossed the good weather lasts

see what bits I've done wrong so far !

Nice to see a reasonable turn out of cars at the open day today.

Plenty of tyre kickers/builders about too.

So please to hear a good report and the open day was well supported. Had this event on my wish list for some time but work overseas got in the way. Feel real bad I could not make it, as it should be one of the big show off events of the year supporting the Factory.
