My indicators seem sometimes not to work and it seems to be when the car is cold and then they're starting to work again when the car gets hotter. The hazard lights work fine, so I'm guessing it's to do with the relay, unless anyone has other thoughts? If it is the relay, what is the a spec and can I just get one of these from maplins or similar? Also, being a bit thick, where do I find it to replace? Thanks Andy

Hi Andy,
Don't worry, it's always like that.
It's absolutely usual : the indicators works when the light is on, then off, then on, then off, then on, then off, then... biglaugh

All ribbing aside, yes it does sound very much like a relay issue, especially as all indicator units are affected.. The relay is relatively cheap. You should find it with the fuses in the LHS front of the side-pod (unscrew a panel under the front clip)- unless the electrics are non-standard, so take it oot and go grab one from halfords & try another.. At least you have eliminated that as a source of your problem, and if it doesn't change anything, you have a spare!

From memory the hazard and flasher relays are the same so you could swap them over and see if the problem moves.
