Engine and 'box are back in....it's only been 4 years since I took them out.

Went to put the clutch slave back on only to find the piston and pushrod have gone walkabout.
Anybody know a part number for the cylinder?

Another couple of years and you might get it finished!!!

I bet you put the clutch slave cylinder internals in a nice safe place.....that's old age and too much beer for you!

Sorry not to be of help as I have an upgraded German one and the old one ended up in the scrap.

Basically a useless reply - sorry.

I cable tied the slave out of the way with all the bits in it.
During the time it has been in the workshop a number of people have sat in the car to see what it is like/try it for size. I'm betting someone pressed the clutch and spat the whole lot onto the floor where it subsequently got swept up and binned.

Grindingly slowly.

Lots of other things non-car-related going on plus a complete collapse of profits from my farming business due to a massive drop in world market prices despite/because of our best ever yields. Bugger!

Lots of emphasis on building the storage business to make up for the shortfall. It's fun, but not quite as much as building a 'special'.

Just a quick roundup.
The FTE part number did not work even though that is what is cast into the unit.
A scan of ebay found one that looked right so I bought it.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301316039867?_trksid=p20...

It is correct and has the FTE number in the casting.

So the actual part number on the FTE box is KN23016G1 it also has a part number 137 33 0050 on another label over the top of the first but that does not come up in a Google search so probably best ignored.
