Spyder windscreen

I am aware that the factory says you cannot fit a windscreen to the Spyder, but has anybody actually tried to do this? Is the tub really that different over the front bulkhead area, or is it more an issue with the door opening geometry?

...or perhaps I should ask if anybody has ever successfully fitted a Can Am windscreen and/or weather gear to a Spyder?
