Hello everyone
I'm sure this has been asked already but I'll ask again.

I'm looking at the Dash2 and wondered whether there was any significant advantage of the Pro, over the normal Dash2?
I want it to do as much as I'll need for the regular, road driving and on the odd track day.
Also, what else do you guys recommend be purchased with the dash?
We're looking to run an LS7 with probably a GM ECU (unless there's evidence to suggest there's a better option)

Regards
Alex

Go for the Pro! The biggest advantage is that it has additional analogue inputs over the standard unit and depending on what you're planning on plumbing into it, you could use up the 4 standard inputs very quickly. I have a std Dash2, with a Race Tech data logger, which provide me with 4+8 analogue inputs. If I had a pro, I wouldn't have needed the logger.

For info, my analogue inputs are: Left Fuel Tank, Right Fuel Tank, Fuel Pressure, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure.

I also have the OBD CAN adapter for further live data inputs (inc RPM), but none of the analogue inputs I've mentioned above are available on the OBD.... trust me, I tried.... LOTS!!

If you go for it, I can help with the necessary config data for the Dash & CAN adapter, just PM me for more info.

I'd like to have as much (useful) information on hand as possible so the Pro sounds a good choice.
Thanks mate, It'll be a while before we're at that stage but I'll definitely keep it in mind.

ps, is it possible to plumb switches for the dash to a steering wheel?

Hi Alex.... yes, you can plumb the switches into an appropriate steering wheel, or use one of the funky wireless switch plates that have been discussed on here once or twice. I actually mounted my switches under the column stalk cover (2 per side), so you can't see them, but can easily tap them to operate the dash smile

I like the idea of the wireless system but also mounting them hidden is also a good option to bare In mind, cheers
