noise under dash

anyone experienced a load noise inside the cockpit.. sounds like a metallic creaking.
only over bumps. thought it was under dash but to be honest so loud could be anywhere.

I had issues with a rear damper a while back.

Replaced it and noise disappeared.

Have you got one you could swap and try?

I think it could be the fibreglass dash rubbing against a chassis rail - specifically, the area where the bottom of the dash clips round the horizontal rail. Spray some WD40 in behind there, and see if that makes a difference...?

The damper was new after my rebuild and there was an internal issue and the Factory replaced it FOC.
