you have lost me;
what part don't you like, is it the overall width available for the seats? or is it the wide sill you have to climb over to get in?

I've wanted to either re-upholster the seats of my car or minimally, just put some fresh padding on the bottom and back of the drivers seat. Are there tips on how to get the leather covering off of the seats? If they have to be removed (which I presume), is there a straightforward method? I did not build my car, thus the rookie question. Some of the track bolts look to be very difficult to reach.

Are the nuts in the runners welded or free? I welded mine and bolt up from under the car. There should be two bolts per runner, one front and one rear of each.

I can't help with the seat covers. I used a trimmer to do mine and this is a route I would recommend for the best look.
