Back in the days of many strikes in manufacturing industries in the UK, Landrove had an issue with a wheel supplietr that went on strike. To avod stopping the Range Rover production line, each car was fitted with wooden wheels to be moved off the line.Just get a sheet of 20mm ply wood and cut in half and glue the two halves together. Then cut out 4 circles, drill centre and bolt holes and you have a set of wheels you can move the chassis on.

Because it was British Leyland and they were hard of thinking, 5 wooden wheels were ordered for each car, because each was originally specced with 4 plus a spare....doh
