Much nicer - drilled and tapped (don't know whether my OCD will now kick in and i'll have to remake it to get rid of the unwanted P Clip holes.....):

A very nice & clever solution !
Is there any space between the roll bar and the rear clam?
If so, why not leave space with your clever attachment solution between the bar & plexi
Do you think this would create noise and/or get enough buffering ?

As it's fitted it appears pretty secure and there's no buffeting at normal road speed (having just tried this 'finished' version out today).
